Cars Sniper is operated by Cars Sniper LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States, at 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110. For anything about these terms, write to [email protected].

What this site is

Cars Sniper aggregates publicly listed vehicle lots from US auctions and presents them with estimated costs and market values. It is an information service. It is not an auction, a broker, a dealer, an importer or a financial adviser.

We are independent

Cars Sniper is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Copart, IAAI or any vehicle-data provider. Their names and marks belong to them and are used only to identify the source of a listing.

Estimates are estimates

All-in totals, delivery costs, market values, sold-history statistics, spread percentages and export duties are calculated from the data available to us and from published fee and tax schedules. They can be wrong, out of date, or simply not applicable to your situation.

Fees change, tax rules change, delivery quotes vary by carrier, and a vehicle's true condition is only visible in person. Treat every number here as a starting point for your own checks — never as a final quote.

You bid at the auction, not here

Bidding, payment, collection and title transfer are handled entirely by Copart or IAAI under their terms, with their membership and licensing requirements. We take no bids, hold no funds and are not a party to any sale.

Verify before you commit

Before bidding, confirm the current bid, the fee schedule, the title status, the damage description and the sale date on the auction's own listing. Where the two disagree, the auction is correct and we are not.

Liability

The site is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made using this site — including overpaying at auction, unexpected fees, import costs, repair costs or a purchase that turns out worse than the listing suggested.

Plans, billing and cancellation

One lot — the car featured on the home page — is open to everyone, with no account and no card. Everything else is part of a paid plan: Pro at $29 a month and Dealer at $79 a month. Plans renew automatically every month until you cancel.

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. If your bank converts the charge, its rate and fees are between you and your bank.

You can cancel at any time from your account, and you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the current period, and we do not give refunds for time already paid. If a charge is taken in error, write to us and we will fix it.

If we change a price, the new one applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it is charged. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days; when it keeps failing, the plan ends and the account returns to the free view.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site at volume, resell its output as your own data feed, or attempt to disrupt its operation. Reasonable personal and professional research use is exactly what it is built for.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
